Frequently asked questions
Is Cat Browser free?
Yes. The app is free and shows some ads. Cat AI, Cat VPN and video downloads have free daily allowances. Cat Premium (bought through Google Play) removes ads and raises the limits.
Does Cat Browser collect my browsing history?
No. Page addresses, page titles and search queries are never part of our analytics. Ad blocking and Safe Mode run on your phone. See the Privacy Policy.
Is Cat VPN a no-log VPN?
We do not log the websites you visit or your DNS queries through the VPN. To enforce the free allowance we keep, per install and per day, the minutes connected and the data used, plus the current session. While you are connected the VPN server necessarily knows your current IP address. The VPN encrypts your connection; it does not make you anonymous.
Is downloading videos legal?
Only download content you own, content in the public domain, or content you have permission to save. Many sites forbid downloading in their terms, and copyright law applies. You are responsible for what you download.
Is it suitable for children?
Cat Browser is not directed at children under 13. For shared family devices or teenagers, turn on Safe Mode and use Google Family Link.
How do I delete my data?
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling removes what is stored on your phone. To delete data on our servers, send a deletion request.
